Whats on offer?
This beginners beekeeping course includes all the need to know theory and hands on practical skills to start/ continue your beekeeping journey. We'll teach you:
- What equipment is right for you
- Beekeeping Basics - such as where to put a hive
- Pests and disease
- Essential Beekeeping - including hands on practical
- and much much more
With 3 successful years teaching and over 5 years beekeeping experience around the world, come join Beekeeper Dave, holder of the BBKA General Husbundry and our senior beekeeper and queen manager to see what the 'BUZZ' really is about!

What we provide: beesuits and beekeeping equipment. Light refreshments.
What you need: Pair of new Marrigold gloves, sturdy footwear (wellies/ high ankle hiking boots or similar) and some lunch.

This course is limited in capacity and in high demand. We have spent a lot of time organising a fun and educational experience. If you are unable to attend the course we will try our best to reschedule you onto another course where possible. However, please note if this is not possible, we can only offer 50% refund.
